Concrete Software Releases PBA® Bowling Challenge for Android

2012: Year in Review

2012 was a good year for Concrete Software.

We started the year off with a bang by releasing Wordsplosion for Android and iOS. Then we put a new spin on solitaire with Aces Solitaire Pack Challenge for iOS and we managed to untangle a whole mess of traffic jams by adding hints to Aces Traffic Pack for Android.

After that we taught robots and beavers to wear top hats and tails in Gin Rummy for Kindle Fire and Nook, brought Aces Spades to Android and iOS, and did our part to help reduce the virtual ant population by adding throwing stars, machine guns and bug zappers in Pocket Ants for iOS.

Last, but most definitely not least, we finally finished Jellyflop! for Android. An ocean of sweat and tears went into this game (the process was relatively bloodless) and the result is a project we couldn’t be more proud of. Jellyflop!™ Adds new levels, new mechanic and more!

Minneapolis, MN – December 18, 2012 – Concrete Software, developers of rock solid mobile games is pleased to announce the first major content update for Jellyflop! on Android.

The update includes 40 extra levels of gameplay, a significant addition to the 100 levels in the initial release, that can be unlocked by collecting feathers throughout the game.

The new levels also take advantage of a new mechanic making its debut, the Boost Line. Most surfaces in Jellyflop! cause the game’s hero, Jelly the jellyfish, to bounce or flop, but the Boost Line reacts differently. The Boost Line draws him in and speeds him along until he reaches the end of the line, adding a new tool in Jelly’s continuing search for feathers and creating some unexpected and hilarious physics results in the process. Jellyflop!™ Reaches 1 Million Downloads in 1 Month

Minneapolis, MN – November 28, 2012 – Concrete Software, developers of rock solid mobile games has surpassed one million downloads of its newest Android title, Jellyflop! in less than one month.

Since the release of Jellyflop!, it has been played over 3 million times and has a 4.4 out of 5 star rating on Google Play with more than 9,000 ratings.  The game received great reviews on release which started getting Jellyflop! some nice download numbers, but it really took off when Google featured the game on Google Play.
